February 8, 2007- My book, Living a God-Glorifying Life Through Good Health, has arrived!

February 7, 2007- Tate Publishers has notified me that they have received pre-release copies of my book Living a God-Glorifying Life Through Good Health. I then should be receiving the 135 copies that I ordered anytime now.

January 26, 2007- Tate Publishers has placed my book order. They are scheduled to be shipped from Houston, TX on February 9, 2007. They should arrive at my door 3 to 5 days after that. The official release day for Living a God-Glorifying Life Through Good Health is April 17, 2007. At this time my book will be available for order from any major bookstore and on-line bookstore.

January 18, 2007- Tate Publishing sent my manuscript to the printer yesterday. The printers will create a proof and then begin printing. It will take 3 months for the books to reach national distribution. However Tate Publishing and myself will receive copies of the book in about 3 weeks.

January 17, 2007- Tate Publishing is sending my book to the printer. I should have my copies (135) in about three weeks. This will put it at February 7, 2007.

January 16, 2007- The voicing is now complete for the audio book and digital download. I am now listening to it for any errors. My final corrections to the manuscript have been incorporated by the layout editor at Tate Publishers. I was sent a revised front and back cover for my approval. The manuscript is now ready to be sent to the printers. According to Tate, printing should take from 4 to 6 weeks.

January 9, 2006- Living a God-Glorifying Life Through Good Health will be out by the first week of March, 2007. I am taking advance orders for the book ($14.99.) Free with every purchase is a digital audio version, a $35 value. The first 25 customers will receive their copy personally autographed. Order now!

January 8, 2006- I got an email from my graphic designer at Tate Publishers saying that she has received the final proof which I mailed last week. As soon as she incorporates my corrections, it'll be sent to the printers. The printing should take from 4 to 6 weeks.

January 3, 2007- I received the final proof of my book in the mail this afternoon. I am proofing it now. Tate Publishers has set the price of the book to be $14.99. I forgot to send them my endorsements. I emailed that file today. My graphic designer from Tate Publishers emailed me back that it will be no problem to insert my endorsements. They will go before the title page. That's good news.

December 29, 2006- I received an email from my graphic designer at Tate Publishing informing me that the final proof has been mailed. I should receive it within a week. This will be my last chance for corrections. Also enclosed in the package is a final approval form and a color waiver. Once they have received my approval, my manuscript goes to print. The printing process will take anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks.

December 28, 2006- Yesterday Tate Publishers sent an email with an attachment containing my edited biography and sketch for my book for my approval. I made a few updates and sent it back. This 'backmatter' (including endorsements) will be on my book's back cover. A complete physical mockup of the book, including covers, will be mailed to me. This will be my final chance to make any corrections before the book is sent to the printers.

December 23, 2006- I received two emails today from Tate Publishers. The first was from my graphic designer. She has finished laying out the text and titles and has given it back to Chris who designed my cover. He will now design the backmatter (back cover- endorsements, my photo, etc.) Once he has finished, I will be sent a complete physical mockup of the book for my final check. The last email was from the person who is doing the voicing for my audio book. She has finished half of the book. (She stated that she has changed her diet because of what she has read.)

December 18, 2006- Tate Publishing has begun the audio book (Living a God-Glorifying Life Through Good Health.) I was emailed a sample and was very impressed. Purchasers of the paper copy of the book will have a code in the back of the book enabling them to download a free audio digital version from the publisher's website.

December 15, 2006- I received the initial layout (pdf file) from Leah of Tate Publishers. It looks great. Book length comes to 226 pages. I will give my approval to this layout via email. She will continue to develop the layout and do a final proof. This proof will include the cover.

December 7, 2006- My graphic designer from Tate Publishers called this afternoon. She wantd to know if I had received her email earlier this week. I told her that I had. She then informed me that she will email me her initial layout of my manuscript on December 15, 2006.

December 4, 2006- I received an email today from the graphic designer from Tate Publishers who will be doing the layout of my book Living a God-Glorifying Life Through Good Health. She will beign laying out the text including page numbers and headers. When that initial step is complete, she will send me a preliminary proof for me to approve.

November 30, 2006- I received an email from my editor at Tate Publishers confirming that he received my Content Approval Form and final revised draft of the manuscript. It will now go to the Design Department. One of the Layout Artists will be contacting me in 2 to 4 weeks.

November 29, 2006- I have read through the final draft of my corrected manuscript from the editor. I made a few final corrections and changes. I signed the Content Approval Form from Tate Publishers and emailed it, along with my final changes, to the editor. This final file will be given to the layout department.

November 27, 2006- I've received the final draft of my manuscript from the editor. He combined my additions with his corrections. I have to carefully read this final draft to make sure everything is in place. Once I sign the Content Approval Form and send it in, I can't make any more changes. Once I sign and email the Contant Approval Form back, the manuscript moves to Layout and Design.

November 25, 2006- still enjoying the Thanksgiving holiday; I hope to hear from Tate Publishing on Monday when they resume business. After I receive and approve the revised manuscript, it moves to layout. I still anticipate the finished book early next year.

November 22, 2006- received an email from Curtis, my editor at Tate Publishers. He wished me a happy thanksgiving and said that the office will be closed until Monday.

November 14, 2006- I received a confirmation email from my editor at Tate Publishers. He will combine his corrections with mine and send the corrected manuscript back to me for final confirmation and approval.

November 13, 2006- I have completed incorporating my editor's corrections (and mine) into the manuscript of Living A God-Glorifying Life Through Health. I emailed the edited file to my editor today. The next step in the process is the actual layout of the book.

November 10, 2006- received my edited manuscript from Tate Publishers this evening.

November 2, 2006- Received a phone call from the senior editor at Tate Publishing. He is editing my manuscript Living A God-Glorifying Life Through Good Health. This process should be completed by the end of next week. However the email he sent me a few minutes later said that the editing process will take from 3 to 4 weeks! We shall see. Stay tuned!

October 3, 2006- I chose cover design #4 out of four possible designs. I am very satisfied with it and when you see it, I am sure you will agree. I sent Chris of Tate Publishers my choice.

October 2, 2006- Chris from Tate Publishers has sent me four possible cover designs via email. Of the four, I have already eliminated one. The three remaining are strong possibilities. I will have my wife Dolores look them over to see her preference. I'll come to a final decision tomorrow.

September 22, 2006- Received a phone call from Chris, a graphic designer from Tate Publishers, today. He told me that a matte finish for the cover looks more professional than a glossy finish. I told him to go with the matte finish. As I don't have any ideas as to possible cover designs, he will design several covers and send them to me for my comments and approval. Chris said that the cover designs for my book Living A God-Glorifying Life Through Good Health will be forwarded to me next week. Stay tuned for continuous progress reports.

September 21, 2006- A graphic designer from Tate Publishers contacted me yesterday by email to inform me that he will be doing the cover design for Living A God-Glorifying Life Through Good Health. He will be proposing several design concepts for me to look at and approve.
